HEY Y'ALL!

I'm Nia and welcome to my blog! I'm twenty-three years old and I'm excited to begin a new phase in my life and journal the ups and downs along the way!

I've lived a little bit of everywhere from the east coast to the west, but North Carolina is my home. I graduated from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University in 2019 with a B.S. in Psychology with a Pre-Med focus. During my senior year, I took a leap of faith and applied to graduate schools and wound up at the University of Pittsburgh working towards a Masters in Biomedical Sciences. And...recently been accepted to the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Class of 2024!!! 

It's definitely been a journey, but I am looking forward to the adventures the next four years have to offer and sharing my experiences to help others reach their dreams too! Everyone's journey to medicine is as unique as their fingerprint and there's a place for you!
